Wyenet Broadband Service for use with BT lines

Wyenet Broadband (ADSL and ADSL2+) connections are provided over an existing BT phone line. You will need to check that it is possible to get Broadband in your area, see BT Total Broadband for details. Whilst we will make every effort, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to connect through ADSL until an order has been placed and a final test has been performed.  Wyenet ADSL services are available throughout the UK at download speeds up to 8Mb/s. And up to 20Mb/s in selected areas  Unless otherwise stated, ADSL services outgoing traffic (upload) is restricted to 448Kb/s, although higher speeds can be achieved with the up to 20Mb/s service.

ADSL Up to 8 Mbps,
ADSL 2+ Up to 20Mbps in selected areas.
 ADSL2+ is supplied as standard if your local BT exchange has been upgraded to 21st Century Network, and your phone line supports it.

Home ADSL Services include fixed IP address.

Home 1000
This is a service for a single computer. The service runs at a maximum of 1024Kb/s to the computer and outgoing traffic is at a maximum rate of 256Kb/s.

Home Capped (10Gb/month)
This is a service recommended for a single computer, or for low usage Local Area Networks. The service runs at a maximum of 8Mb/s*, and outgoing traffic is at a maximum rate of 448Kb/s. Monthly usage over 10Gb will be chargable, however you will be given the option to upgrade to the unlimited service*Depending on what speed your BT line can support.

Home Unlimited
This is a service for a single computer or for multiple computers on a Local Area Network. The service runs at a maximum of 8Mb/s* and outgoing traffic is at a maximum rate of 448Kb/s. *Depending on what speed your BT line can support.

Business ADSL Broadband Service

All our Business ADSL and Business Plus ADSL 2+ Services include free Web Hosting (www.hostname.wyenet.co.uk), fixed IP address, free POP3 and SMTP and a free 0845 dialup connection.

Business Standard
Our fastest BT 20CN service, only the best phonelines can support this service. The fastest service possible for areas where there is no fibre, or 21st Century available. The service runs at a maximum of 8Mb/s* download to the LAN and outgoing traffic is at a rate of up to 800Kb/s. In cases where BT upgrade your local exchange, we'll happily upgrade your service to Business Plus.

Business Plus ADSL2+ Broadband Service

Our Business Plus ADSL2+ Service offer up to 20Mbps uploads, and up to 1.3Mbps downloads, and download speeds can be further upgraded by selecting the Annex-M option. Only available on BT 21st Century Exchanges

Business Plus
A fast reliable broadband service optimized for business users. The service runs at a maximum of 20Mb/s* download to the LAN and outgoing traffic is at a rate of up to 1.3Mb/s. When the Annex-M option is take, upload speeds of up to 2.5Mb/s can be achieved.
*Depending on what speed your BT line can support.

If you require the ADSL/Broadband service to use an existing ISDN / Highway line, BT will have to convert the line back to analogue before it can be activated with ADSL/Broadband. You will need to arrange for this yourself with BT before we are able to order your ADSL/Broadband. You will probably be charged by BT for the engineer's visit.

For MAC code transfers, our normal £46 setup fee is waived.
