Wyenet ADSL Service for use with BT lines from £16.16 + vat

Wyenet ADSL (Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line) broadband connections are now available at competitive prices.  ADSL services are provided over an existing BT analogue line but you will need to check that it is possible to get ADSL in your area, see BT Total Broadband for details. Whilst we will make every effort, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to connect through ADSL until an order has been placed and a final test has been performed.  Wyenet ADSL services are available throughout the UK at download speeds ranging from 512Kb/s to 8Mb/s.  Unless otherwise stated, ADSL services outgoing traffic (upload) is restricted to 256Kb/s. We recommend that all connections are through a firewall.

Home 1000
This is a service for a single connection to a computer using the USB port for access with a DSL Modem. The service runs at a maximum of 1024Kb/s to the computer and outgoing traffic is at a maximum rate of 256Kb/s. The service is run at a contention rate of 50:1.

Home Max Capped (10Gb/month)
This is a service for a single connection to a computer using the USB port for access with a DSL Modem or for multiple connections to a Local Area Network. The service runs at a maximum of 8Mb/s* to the computer and outgoing traffic is at a maximum rate of 400Kb/s. The service is run at a contention rate of 50:1. *Depending on what speed your BT line can support.

Home Max Unlimited
This is a service for a single connection to a computer using the USB port for access with a DSL Modem or for multiple connections to a Local Area Network. The service runs at a maximum of 8Mb/s* to the computer and outgoing traffic is at a maximum rate of 400Kb/s. The service is run at a contention rate of 50:1. *Depending on what speed your BT line can support.

Business Services with a contention ratio of 20:1

All our Business Plus ADSL Services include free Web Hosting (www.hostname.wyenet.co.uk), fixed IP address, free POP3 and SMTP and a free 0845 dialup connection.

Business 1000

Business Max
This is a service for multiple connections to a Local Area Network. The service runs at a maximum of 8Mb/s* download to the LAN and outgoing traffic is at a maximum rate of 800Kb/s. The service is run at a contention rate of 20:1. *Depending on what speed your BT line can support.

Service Prices
The setup charge includes the cost of converting your analogue BT line to ADSL.   DSL Modems and Routers are available from £40 + vat - Firewalls can also be supplied - please ask for more details.  The ongoing cost will be dependent only on the speed of service required.

If you require the ADSL/Broadband service to use an existing ISDN / Highway line, BT will have to convert the line back to analogue before it can be activated with ADSL/Broadband. You will need to arrange for this yourself with BT before we are able to order your ADSL/Broadband. You will probably be charged by BT for the engineer's visit.

This will enable you to allocate new mailboxes on demand and increase the efficiency of your bandwidth usage. MDaemon Standard
